On the Rocks began as a film festival entirely dedicated to geology, a project designed to popularize Earth sciences in a creative way.

In its editions, the festival has involved students, researchers, professionals and enthusiasts, inviting them to tell stories about the Earth through innovative and original short films.

After four editions, On the Rocks has been transformed, evolving into a true creative "laboratory" for the production of content capable of bringing the general public closer to geology. From this evolution was born Pascotin, a fictional character who, with lightness and curiosity, reveals the wonders and secrets of geology.
