This video gives you a short overview of the work I have been undertaking at the University of Birmingham for my PhD. I am studying salt tectonics using a specialised magnetic analysis called Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility. During my research I have been on two field seasons to Nova Scotia. It is one of the first ever studies of its kind and is revealing some never before seen information about the mysterious internal workings of salt structures.
