Aural Structures is a project aimed to produce musical models of crystals for educational applications. Our sonification of crystal structures was used to give aural representations of crystals to improve memorization and learning through emotional involvement. A format including seminars and concerts directly involves the students in conducted performance of sonification of crystallization/fusion/vitrification processes. Sonifications are blueprint for producing original musical compositions.
