We would like to explain how the volcanological monitoring of Etna changed using UAV that allow the volcanologist to observe close but safety, the eruptive framework from above. Our goal is to transform the photographed objects into measurable 3D cartographic products obtaining the volcanological parameters that characterize the lava flow: thickness, volume and effusion rate. We would like to convey a tribute at the beauty of our volcano and the passion for our work.
