Travertine are famous for their wide use as ornamental stones, formerly the Roman age. Geologically, travertine are considered great indicators for environmental, climatic and tectonic studies of the last one hundred thousand years. In this video, I present the relationships between travertine deposion and tectonic activity, showing how our Planet gives us information about his own movements through travertine deposition.
