Exposure = light "intensity" × exposure duration. This short formula sums up quite simply what is meant by photographic exposure. To be able to have the correct exposure, i.e. to expose our sensor (digital or analog) of the camera with the intensity of light and the correct time, we have at our disposal three fantastic tools: the aperture, shutter speed and ISO speed.
