This video describes my PhD research activity at Mt Meager, in Canada. Mt Meager is an ice-clad volcano and the glaciers are rapidly melting following global warming. Ice melting triggered a large collapse in 2010 and last year, for the first time, fumaroles pierced through the glacier reaching the surface. Little is known about the climate change effects on the volcano edifice stability and on the deeper magmatic system.
